Snowy Splendor

We've gotten a couple great snow storms lately. Nothing like last year, mind you...and thank you. But a good couple of inches to make everything pretty and white.

Here we bundled up the Pipster and headed out to explore that crazy white stuff for the first time. We only lasted about 10 minutes but she had fun pushing it around and even trying to eat some of it. Too bad she can't really move in that snowsuit!



After another storm we were invited over to Meghan and Connor's for a sledding party followed by hot chocolate and cookies. Great idea, Meghan! Although we were without a sled, Connor was nice enough to share his. I have learned a valuable lesson. Buy silly things like that really early! Like, September. Because they are totally sold out by the time you want one. I think I'm going to buy a bathing suit for her now!

Anyways, Pippa, again stuffed into her snowsuit like a sausage, rode around on the sled with a big smile on her face. Too bad for her that this preggo mama has very little endurance and was huffing and puffing after about 2 minutes! Ha! Who needs the gym. The other little ones had a good time too, for the most part. But the girls in the group were definitely the bigger troupers. The boys were more eager to get back inside to play.

And play they did! Connor and Pippa had a great time playing together. They followed each other around and played with toys together. It was very cute to watch. Glad that they are developing a nice little friendship!
